CONGRATULATIONS JOHN A. PAIGE JR. CONTRACTING, INC.30+ YRS IN BUSINESS 1978-TodayHistoryJohn A. Paige, Jr. filed his original dba in 1978 and then incorporated 20 years later into John A. Paige Jr. Contracting, Inc. When starting in 1978 John's main work was the residential remodeling market. Within a few years John found the high end historical restoration more challenging. Not being able to find local wood working shops to produce and deliver to him the historical doors, windows and trims he needed, he built his own shop and started producing the products he needed to complete High End Historical Restorations that he took his company into. After years in the historical restoration market, in the mid 1980's; his attention turned to New Home Construction. TodayAfter years of building new homes, John now has found that his true love is being totally and fully involved in the overall process. From designing the homes to constructing them to the standards he sets. Creating the CommunityJohn has the vision to acquire a new piece of land and develop the site into a completed Community where the homes fit into the character of the land as if they have always been there. Designing the HomesJohn's goal in his design work is to design homes that are cost effective and comfortable for his consumers. He is always trying to meet the needs of today's changing market. Quality ControlNot only is John on the site everyday directing each step of the construction process, but he employs his own crew of carpenters to assist him and be his eyes and ears. "It has been a few months since I moved into my new home.
I love every minute of my time spent at my new dream home. I love the layout and the location. I loved it from the very first moment and decided that this will be my new residence. The quality of the materials and workmanship was the major selling point. The layout is great. After short negotiations my offer was accepted. Within a few weeks I was holding keys to my new dream home. The whole process was handled very well between my agent, seller's agent, bank, attorneys, etc. Being very busy, I was able to achieve my dream with very little spent on making sure that the deal goes thru. John Paige from Paige Contracting was very accomodating in setting up the final walk through before closing. John had provided complete documentation of the house including the lot layout . . .heating sytem, hardwood floor care, etc. The real nice touch was staking out the driveway for the snow plow. So whoever was going to plow my driveway had an idea as far as where the driveway is! In summary, I love the house, the location and the whole experience of moving into the Highland II neighborhood.
